The Game Has Changed: The All-New Aventon Current EXP Full-Suspension eMTB is Here!

If you’ve been following the e-bike world lately, you know Aventon has been on a tear. But their latest announcement just shifted the gears entirely. Introducing the Aventon Current EXP: a full-power, full-suspension electric mountain bike (eMTB) that is ready to dominate the trails without breaking the bank.

As your local authorized Aventon dealer, we are incredibly excited to bring this high-performance machine to our community. Here’s why the Current EXP is the bike we’ve all been waiting for.

High-Performance Specs, Real-World Value

For a long time, getting a carbon-frame, full-suspension eMTB meant spending five figures. Aventon is disrupting that. The Current EXP features a Carbon Fiber front triangle paired with a rugged 6061 alloy rear triangle, giving you the perfect balance of lightweight agility and trail-crushing durability.

Power That Doesn't Quit: The UltroX Motor

At the heart of the Current EXP is Aventon’s brand-new, proprietary UltroX motor. This isn’t just another off-the-shelf drive unit.

  • Torque for Days: Delivering a massive 110Nm of torque (cranking up to 120Nm in Boost mode), this bike turns the steepest climbs into a victory lap.
  • Peak Power: With 850W of peak power, you’ll have the "oomph" you need to clear technical sections and maintain momentum on chunky terrain.
  • Custom Tuning: Using the Aventon App, you can personalize your "Ride Tune" to match your specific riding style.

Elite Components

Aventon didn't cut corners on the build kit. The Current EXP is spec’d with trail-ready gear including:

  • Suspension: RockShox Lyrik Select fork (150mm) and RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock.
  • Drivetrain: The all-new SRAM S1000 AXS Transmission. This "OE-only" wireless drivetrain offers crisp, snappy shifts and runs directly off the bike’s main battery: no separate derailleur batteries to charge!
  • Brakes: SRAM Maven Base hydraulic disc brakes for massive stopping power.
  • Tires: Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR II 29x2.6 combo for ultimate grip.

Range That Goes the Distance

During recent testing in the "chonky" terrain of Arizona, riders found the battery efficiency to be staggering. Even when pushing the bike in "Trail" mode over 24+ miles of technical desert riding, testers finished with nearly 60% battery remaining. While Aventon claims a maximum range of up to 105 miles, real-world trail riders can expect plenty of juice for those all-day epic adventures.

Smart Tech for the Modern Rider

The Current EXP features a sleek, touchscreen integrated top-tube display. No more bulky screens on your handlebars. Plus, with built-in GPS tracking and anti-theft features via the Aventon Connectivity Unit (ACU), you can have peace of mind whenever you park.
