We get it—sometimes the perfect gift isn’t quite perfect. No worries, we’ve got you covered! Our special holiday return policy makes gifting (and returning) stress-free.

How It Works:

  • Extended Holiday Returns: All purchases made from December 1st to December 25th are eligible for returns until January 25th. That’s 30 days after the big day to return or exchange your items.
  • Hassle-Free Returns: Unwrapped it, tried it, but it didn’t spark joy? Return it in new, unused condition with the original packaging and tags—no judgment, just holiday spirit. 🎁

The Fine (but Friendly) Print:

  • Gifts with Receipts: If you have a gift receipt, you can exchange or receive store credit.
  • No Receipt? No Problem: We’ll still accept your return for store credit at the current selling price.
  • Final Sale Items: Some items (like clearance steals or customized products) are non-returnable—because even elves have rules.

Return Options:

  • Bring it back in-store for a quick exchange or refund.
  • Ship it back to us, and we’ll send you a prepaid label to keep things merry and bright.

If you're looking to make a return breath easy. We offer quick and easy returns and your purchase can be refunded within 30 days* of delivery or purchase in store. E-bikes must be returned within 10 miles ridden, or 10 days. 

How to Return 

  • Click the button below to print out a return label, a new tab will open.
  • Enter your order number & e-mail address.
  • Package your return and include the printed order information inside (so we know who you are and the reason for the return).
  • Once we receive your returned items it will be processed as soon as possible. You will receive a refund when the return has been processed.
  • Please note: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label ($10 to be deducted from final refund amount). This fee does not apply to defective or incorrect orders.

  • Products must be in new condition, with all original packaging, labels, and with all manuals and accessories included. Items returned damaged, used, or without packaging are subject to a restocking fee or a partial refund based on the market value of the returned product.
  • Bikes may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of your order. A re-stocking fee of 20% will be applied to the refunded amount. E-bikes odometer must read under 10 miles. Return shipping of bikes is the responsibility of the guest. If there you have any issues with your bike purchase please contact us immediately. You can reach us at 858-943-4229 or via chat. 
  • Gear may be returned within 30 days of delivery or receipt.
  • In store special orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • All refunds require a receipt. Please include a copy of your order form inside of the return package so we know who to refund.
  • Please do not place return postage directly on the product box. Shoe and helmet boxes must be shipped inside of a shipping box.
  • Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as originally used.
  • Return shipping of bikes is the responsibility of the guest.
  • Shipping, assembly & package insurance fees are non-refundable.

We do not accept items after they have been used, but we are happy to help you with any manufacturer defects and warranty replacements. 

Returning Online Orders in Store

Online orders cannot be refunded at any of our retail stores. The order can be dropped off at any store and will then get forwarded (at no charge) to the returns warehouse for processing.

How can I return oversized items?

All oversize items within their return window can be returned for free to one of our retail locations.

How can I mail back items from multiple orders in a single box?

To mail return items from more than one order within the same box, follow these steps (in addition to our general instructions for returning items by mail):

Create shipping labels and packing slips for each order containing items you want to return using the Bicycle Warehouse online returns portal. The easiest way to get there is directly from the orders in your Account's purchase history section. You can also manually enter your purchase information for online orders here or in-store purchases here.

Affix ONE of the shipping labels to the outside of your box. Place the rest of the shipping labels and packing slips inside your box, along with the items you're returning. Including these documents allows our staff to efficiently and accurately process your return.

How do I know if my return contains hazardous material?

The following are considered Hazardous Materials for shipping purposes and cannot be returned via our standard online return process:

  • Flammable liquids such as certain types of bike lubes
  • Loose or uninstalled batteries (even if still in packaging)
  • Adhesives like tubular tire glue
  • Used or charged CO2 cartridges
  • Aerosol bicycle cleaners
  • Bug repellent

These items must be returned via USPS Select Ground, no air shipping.

Please note: Items with batteries pre-installed, such as bike lights or GPS units and watches can be returned via our online return process without restrictions if no more than two are included per package.
