Looking to upgrade your e-bike without the hassle of selling your old one? We’ve got you covered. Bicycle Warehouse is now accepting Upway e-bike trade-ins, making it easier than ever to turn your current ride into store credit for your next cycling adventure.

Whether you're commuting, cruising, or conquering trails, electric bike technology keeps evolving. Now is the perfect time to step into the next generation of comfort, power, and performance.

Why Trade In Your E-Bike?

Electric bikes are a big investment and we believe you should get lasting value out of them, even when it's time for an upgrade. By trading in your e-bike at Bicycle Warehouse, you’ll:

  • Get a competitive trade-in value without listing or shipping hassles
  • Apply your credit instantly toward a new e-bike or gear
  • Save time and energy - no waiting on third-party marketplaces like Offer Up, Facebook or Craigslist
  •     Work with our local team that knows e-bikes and values your time

We’ve streamlined the process so you can focus on what matters most — riding more and stressing less.
How the E-Bike Trade-In Process Works

1. Use Our Trade-In Tool

Start by using our online trade-in calculator. Enter your Upway e-bike’s brand, model, year, and condition. You’ll receive a quick estimate of its current trade-in value. It’s free and there’s no obligation.

2. Bring Your E-Bike to Any Bicycle Warehouse Location

Visit one of our stores with your e-bike, battery, charger, and any required keys (battery lock or frame lock). Our team will inspect the bike to verify condition and finalize your quote.

3. Get Instant Store Credit

Once approved, your trade-in value becomes store credit you can use right away: online or in-store. Shop new e-bikes, traditional bikes, gear, or accessories. We’ll help you find the perfect next ride.

What We Accept

We currently accept most electric bikes manufactured after 2014. To qualify, bikes must meet a few simple conditions:

  •     Must use a certified lithium-ion battery
  •     Include the original battery, charger, and keys
  •     No major frame or structural damage (e.g., no cracked frames)

We evaluate each bike based on its condition and components. If you’re unsure about eligibility, contact our team — we’re happy to help walk you through it.

Trade-In FAQs

Q: What brands can I trade in?

We accept most brands of electric bikes, just use the trade-in tool or reach out to confirm.

Q: What if my battery is missing or damaged?

Unfortunately, bikes must include a working battery and charger for safety and resale purposes.

Q: Do I have to use my store credit immediately?

Absolutely! Store credit can be used right away, but if you need time to choose your next ride, we’ll help you make the most of it.
