Shimano DEORE XT PD-M8220 Pedals

Clip In and Conquer

Built for riders who want confident pedal engagement and dependable grip when unclipped, the DEORE XT PD-M8220 pedals combine a tough design with a massive contact area for unbeatable stability on technical terrain. Inspired by the grip pattern of premium XTR trail pedals, these pedals enhance traction and give you total confidence when charging through rough sections or steep descents.

Smooth and Reliable

Optimized for super easy entry with the included CL-MT001 cleats, these pedals allow quick, consistent engagement so you can snap back in smoothly after tight corners, technical moves, or hike-a-bike sections. Combined with a premium sealed bearing construction and a robust outer cage that protects the binding from rock strikes, these pedals maintain dependable performance in mud, dust, and wet conditions season after season.

The Best Bits

• Trail-Focused Performance: A wide contact area improves foot stability for total control on rowdy descents

• Trail-Ready Reliability: A robust outer cage protects the pedal binding mechanism from rock strikes and harsh trail impacts
• Durable Sealed Construction: An improved seal design ensures these pedals spin smoothly and stay true season after season
• Fast, Confident Engagement: Pairs perfectly with the included CL-MT001 cleats featuring multi-direction engagement for incredibly easy clip-ins from any angle (also compatible with standard SPD cleats!)
