A couple weeks back with so many 2018 bikes arriving our team couldn't help themselves - about a dozen of us here at Bicycle Warehouse purchased new bikes.
We figured what better time to find out a little bit more about the guys and gals of Bicycle Warehouse so without further ado here's Jesse out of our Kearny Mesa store and his wife, Tara who just picked up a Giant TCR Advanced SL KOM edition and a Liv Langma Advanced 2.
Tell us why you choose that bike.
I picked the Giant TCR Advanced SL 2 KOM as my bike of choice. I chose it because I had been riding the TCR Advanced Pro and it was time to upgrade.
I loved the way the bike handled on the climbs, it handled even better on the descents.
It is super stiff pedaling but compliant on the bumps. One thing that makes this bike special is the fact that it is under 15lbs and with no loss to the quality of ride.
What's your goal? Is there a trail you want to crush or conquer?
I don't have any goals other then just to get out and ride as much as possible and adventure. I made a couple of changes to the bike by upgrading the handle bars to the integrated carbon Giant bars, Stages power meter, and swapping the cassette to 11-32t in the back.
Who do you ride with?
Tara got the Liv Langma Advanced 2 because it is very comfortable on the bumps, but lightweight and stiff on the climbs, and it looks amazing!!! Also, I picked it out for her.
