At Bicycle Warehouse, we believe bikes change lives. This Giving Tuesday, we are proud to support Outride, a nonprofit partnered with Specialized that helps young people discover confidence, focus, and community through cycling.
What is Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It is all about generosity and supporting causes that create real, positive change. This year, Specialized and Outride are teaming up with shops across the country to bring more attention to Outride’s mission of expanding access to bikes for kids and teens.
About Outride
Outride is dedicated to helping all people experience the emotional, social, and cognitive benefits that come from riding. Through research, rider education, and community grants, Outride supports programs that get more young people on bikes.
So far, Outride and its partners have reached more than 420,000 youth through over 400 schools and 250 community organizations across the United States and Canada. Every donation helps grow these programs and opens the door for even more young riders.
Outride is Specialized's long-standing nonprofit partner that focuses on getting more young people on bikes. Specialized helped start and continues to support Outride, but the organization operates as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit with its own programs, grants, and research.
Special Giving Tuesday Auction
To raise additional funding this season, Outride is auctioning a limited number of custom S Works Outride Roubaix SL8 bikes. These unique bikes support the campaign and help power future grants, school programs, and community riding initiatives.
Supporters can also donate directly, with every contribution going toward expanding access to cycling for young people.
