BIKE BUYER’S CHECKLIST
Congrats, we hope you enjoy your new bike on countless great adventures. Below are some helpful points to keep in mind so you always ride safe.
Follow these steps to ensure you ride safe
✅ Please read your owners manual to learn how to operate your bike safely.
✅ ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.
✅ Bicycles are subject to all the laws of the road (some areas may have added laws for bikes).
✅ Learn the proper use of brakes, gears and releases for wheels, seatposts and brakes.
✅ Reflectors are a safety item and should not be removed.
✅ Regular maintenance is required to keep your bike operating safely. Failure to do so may void warranty and make the bike unsafe.
✅ Lights are required by law when riding at night (or dusk, dawn or poor visibility).
✅ California Law prohibits operating a bicycle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
✅ The bike has limitations as a recreational vehicle and should be used on appropriate terrain.
✅ Control can be impaired while riding in/on wet, sandy, loose terrain, rocks, rain, snow, ice, sleet, hail, etc.
✅ It is most safe to ride within you own limits.
✅ Removing, modifying or replacing original equipment components may make the bicycle unsafe and may void the warranty
✅ Register your bicycle with the manufacturer to receive the latest warranty and safety information
