Memory function turns the light on to the last mode it was turned off and power saving function automatically switches to a lower lumen output when your power is at 10% and lower. You'll never have to worry about buying batters as this headlight is fully USB rechargeable and the battery indicator will let you know by the colors how far you're off from having to charge it.  All these handy features and modes allows you to think about your ride and not about your light.
