This is long overdue and may take a minute, but I wanted to let you know how your fabulous employees have changed my long life. I am now 67 years old and spent a good part of my earlier years running, but as my 40's snuck up on me I found my hips couldn't do it any longer. Four years ago I became single after 39 years and my macho, but younger, cycling brother challenged me to a ride. We have a nephew with Type 1 Diabetes and he has done their 100 mile ride to raise funds for a cure for the last 10 years all over the country and our mom and I have followed him to volunteer at this event. Well, 4 years ago he said to get off my ..... and do a century before I turned 65. He lives in Dallas and shipped me a bike to train on and use and I was clueless! Having been to your PB store once in the past and living close I brought the bike in (in a box) with many questions. I was so blessed to meet Jeff Kinney! He took me under his wing and for 8 months encouraged my riding, took care of my bike questions/problems and along with our Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation team I did my first century August 14, 2014 at 65!!
I have also been fortunate to have worked with Ulysses and now Robb in the PB store and have to tell you that cycling has changed my life. At 67 I just finished my 3rd century for JDRF and done several 100k rides, and my oldest granddaughter (6) is now my beach riding buddy. You have an amazing staff and just wanted you to know.
Thank you all-
