Want to feel like you're on vacation in your home town?
Take a bike ride around Coronado! After a long week I love taking the ferry from downtown across the harbor to Coronado. It's relaxing as I ride through the neighborhoods, along the shore to Hotel Del Coronado. Riding clears my mind and the smell of fresh sea air makes me smile and think about all the summers I spent on Coronado beach when I was growing up in San Diego.
After my ride I stop at The Brigantine for their famous fish tacos and a cup of clam chowder. It's a local restaurant that has a fun and relaxing atmosphere.
Did you know our Annual Bike the Bay ride is every August. It's the only time of year you can bike across the Coronado bridge. Once you ride across you'll travel the Bayshore Bikeway which winds through 5 cities and back to the Embarcadero Marina Park. We'll be there supporting the ride so come by and say Hi.
Grab some friends, take a spin around Coronado, stop at the local shops (pretty please is a great place for us girls to pick up something cute) get some exercise and have some fun.
