My name is Kyle Garcia and I am a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, currently on recruiting duty in Perris, CA. My wife Karen and I first moved here back in June of 2014. One of my coworkers was really into road cycling and got me hooked due to injuries I had sustained as an infantryman with multiple deployments overseas. The low impact combined with the ability to raise my heart rate has allowed me to gain the benefits of aerobic/anaerobic training while keeping the stress off of my joints.
When I looked into buying my first road bicycle, I had no idea what a cassette was, or the fact that Giant was such an big player in the road and mountain bike industry. After shopping around the Riverside County area, I happened to randomly call Bicycle Warehouse. I spoke with Evan and drove down to check out a Raleigh Revenue 2.0. Evan spent well over an hour with me explaining components and their different levels. After speaking with Evan, I met Brian and proceeded to tell me even more about everything bicycles and the sport as a whole. After riding the Revenio, it wasn't long before I upgraded to a 2016 Giant Defy Advanced 2. This was my first carbon bike and Brian made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed to include transferring my old computer, water bottle cage, and tires over to the new bike. After riding the Defy for a season, I recently received an email that advertised the 2016 Giant TCR Advanced 1 on closeout. Without hesitation I called and spoke with Ryan and traded in my Defy for the TCR, as my riding ability and purpose had shifted towards the TCR frame design. I have since, also purchased a 2016 Liv Avail 3 for my wife's first bike. All of our accessories to include Gatorskin tires, water bottles, cages, 3D leg warmers, pedals, helmets, jerseys, wind breakers, shoes, cleats, and today a Thule rack to haul our bikes, has been purchased from Bicycle Warehouse Temecula.
Without a doubt, Brian, Garrett, and Ryan believe in Brian's idea that, "Take care of your Guest first and success will follow". I consider Brian a friend before I even consider him a technician or salesman. I told Brian that even when I move out of the state, I will fly back to California or drive to make sure any bicycle purchase is made through his store. I will save my money and someday be able to purchase a TCR Advanced Pro! The prices at Bicycle Warehouse are second to none. When you combine outstanding customer service with quality products, it creates an environment where the customer is welcomed and not intimidated. The wealth of knowledge Brian and his team have is presented and catered to every level of rider. Since my purchases, I have referred many people to the Temecula location to work directly with Brian. Some of my friends have purchased Santa Cruz bikes and others Defys and TCRs. End state, Brian is the heart of the Temecula Bicycle Warehouse, a professional, and an invaluable asset to the road cycling and mountain biking community.
Brian did not know I was going to write this, but it is long overdue. Feel free to share my Bicycle Warehouse story, and please share with Brian and his team. You have gained a customer for life!
