I was in the final stages of a conversion from 3x10 to 2x10 on my Sanata Cruz Nickel. I had a question about a part I was using. I called and talked with Matt. He was very knowledgeable and after a bit I asked if I could bring in my bike and have him size my chain and make sure the mid cage derailleur was going to work with my new sprockets and cassette gearing. I called at 3pm on Mother's Day (the store closes at 5pm that day) and he told me to bring it in. I brought in my bike and he sized and installed my chain (and showed me how to size it properly for in the future), hooked up my shifters, and even installed new handlebars and grips that I bought while he worked on the chain and shifters. I was out of there in an hour with my bike working great. While I was there, Jay was an interesting and fun guy to talk to about bikes and I give both guys 5 stars. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond what I've experienced at other bike shops (Bicycle Warehouse in Kerney Mesa is great too). I live in Rancho Bernardo and it's great to have a *quality* bike shop in the area. - Robert P.
