The 2025 Ride the Vines was one for the books. On a crisp October morning, hundreds of cyclists gathered in Old Town Temecula for the annual ride through the valley’s scenic vineyards and rolling hills. Bicycle Warehouse was proud to be a sponsor again this year, helping bring together riders of all levels to celebrate community, cycling, and the beauty of Southern California’s wine country.

30-mile group and, later in the morning, the family-friendly ride that wound through some of Temecula’s most picturesque backroads. It was the perfect mix of challenge and fun, whether you were chasing a personal best or just enjoying a leisurely cruise among the vines. The hum of tires, the flash of jerseys, and the laughter of families on e-bikes created the kind of atmosphere that reminds everyone why they love to ride.

At the center of it all was the Bike Village in Old Town, where riders checked in, refueled, and reconnected with friends old and new. The Bicycle Warehouse crew was there bright and early with our branded tent, offering free pre-ride safety checks, e-bike demos, and a "Spin to Win" wheel that kept the energy high all day. Riders could score prizes like water bottles, tune-up coupons, and other gear favorites. We also teamed up with Caught with Your Helmet On to promote helmet safety for kids, running a mini obstacle course with balance bikes that was a huge hit with younger riders.

The event, organized by Bike Temecula Valley and the City of Temecula, wasn’t just about great views and perfect weather. Proceeds supported local nonprofits including Mission Hope, Walk ’n Rollers, and the Temecula-VU-PTA, ensuring the event had a real impact beyond the finish line. Seeing the community rally around cycling for a cause reminded us why we do what we do: getting more butts on bikes, safely and confidently, while supporting the towns and neighborhoods we call home.

After the last riders crossed the finish line, the celebration kept going at Bailey’s in Old Town, where live music, food, and a well-earned round of drinks capped off the day. The smiles were endless, and it was clear that this event has become a staple in Temecula’s growing cycling culture.

Temecula’s growing cycling culture

For Bicycle Warehouse, Ride the Vines is about more than sponsorship. It’s about connection. It’s about meeting the families who just bought their first bikes, the riders chasing their next big goal, and the everyday cyclists who keep Southern California rolling. Events like this remind us that we’re not just in the bike business, we’re part of a thriving community of riders who love adventure, fresh air, and a good climb.

We’ll be back in 2026, ready to roll again through the vineyards, hand out some high-fives, and keep building the stoke for local cycling. Until then, stop by our Temecula bike shop.
